Options for older siblings at a Newborn Photography Session | Newmarket Newborn Photographer

Capturing children with their brand new siblings is one of my absolute favourite things about newborn photography, as a parent to two little ones myself, I know how particularly treasured these images are.

However, I also understand the that thought of taking a young child to a 2-3 hour photo session can be somewhat daunting!

At Little Works of Art Photography, there are three options for parents to choose from when bringing an older sibling to a Newborn Photography Session, so you can rest assured that every member of the family will enjoy your session:

Stay and Play

I always start with sibling and family photos, so once they're done, your older child is free to play with our collection of toys and books, grab a provided snack and drink, or tuck into a packed lunch. Some children love to ask questions and "help out" with the session, which I happily welcome.

Split the Session

If you'd prefer - we can split your session into one "baby only" session, and one "family" session, on different days. This works particularly well if your older child attends nursery or school.

Send Them Home or Exploring

Once family photos have been taken, you may prefer to have Daddy or a grandparent take siblings home or to a local park. We are just a short walk from a playground, Moon's Toy Store and a large selection of cafes and shops.
